How we test
Every module is tested before it is listed, and checked again before it is packed.
What we check
- The module is detected at its rated capacity and speed by the host system.
- It passes a memory test pass in a working machine — not just a POST beep.
- Contacts and PCB are inspected for corrosion, bent pins or heat damage.
- Labels are read and cross-checked against the part number we list it under.
What we tell you
Where a specification is printed on the module label we list it exactly. Where a part number is ambiguous — some Micron and SK hynix codes ship at more than one speed — we say so on the listing and show the label in the photographs rather than guessing.
Photographs are of the actual stock. Where we hold several identical modules the photograph is representative of the batch.
Condition
These are used parts. Expect light handling marks and the occasional asset-tag residue. Anything with damage that affects function does not get listed.
